Featured Photographer: @jesseme93 #📷 About The Shot: This is a photo I captured of my best friend @JaredHerzogMusic in #DevilsDen, a natural spring in lower #Florida. This was toughest spot I’ve ever been to when it came to getting a good #GoPro shot. I saw images beforehand on Google and was excited to dive in and shoot, but when I got there it was dark & every photo turned out blurry. This was the only miracle shot that turned out of of hundreds. It’s so hard to stay afloat, keep from shivering in the cool temps and on top of that, stay completely still so the camera shake isn’t noticeable. What I’ve found works best for me in getting the perfect under/over shot is not so much in the techniques but everything that’s happening around me. It's pretty simple to get a good over/under #GoPro shot with dome, but it’s based on a series of a few things looking good in order for it to be a good shot. For me there needs to be a good amount of scenery above the water and under the water to compose a great image. You can have fish, divers, dolphins, and all kinds of subjects going on under water, but if there’s nothing above but a blue sky it makes the image a little dull (for me). I always try to make sure I’ve got the same amount of excitement going on above and below the water. Also, the more flat the water is, the easier it is to capture.
